Tech Lead (AWS, .NET Core) - Manchester/Remote
North West, UK / Hybrid / Remote / £60,000 - £75,000
You’ll be joining the leadership team of one of the fastest growing tech teams in the North West, helping steer the technical direction they move in, as they look to expand internationally.
A big part of the role will be helping to define their technology strategy, digging into their entire architecture and systems, looking at how they can maximise their scalability and reliability – but of course you’ll act as a mentor and role model to the team, leading by example, instead of cracking the whip.
Tech wise, their platform is built using .NET Core, C# and they lean heavily on AWS. Although you don’t need to be an AWS expert, a background working with Cloud technologies is a must.
You’d be working within a remote-first environment, but their Engineering teams tend to meet up once every fortnight or so in Manchester – something you’d need to be able to commit to.
Salary wise, I can see the role paying around the £75,000-mark, DOE.
You’d get a pretty impressive benefits package to boot too. This includes 25 days holiday (you’ll have the chance to purchase more if needed), you get your birthday off, you can take 2 paid days leave to volunteer at a charity of your choice, an impressive health insurance package, private pension, a healthy training budget which includes things like Pluralsight licences and the opportunity to attend external courses and the ability to spend 10% of your week focusing on your own development – plus plenty more.
Interviews are being conducted remotely, it’s a fairly straight forward process too, one or two quick chats with the team and a speedy decision – there’d be no technical tests to look at either – so get in touch with Jack Leeming @ Optima Dev for a chat.
