Ironically, a global pandemic has brought us closer together. More of us are checking up on friends, working on our mental health, keeping fit and finding new hobbies.

Well, this team in Bournemouth have designed a platform which engages local communities all over the world, improving communication channels and allowing them to share social events.

They’ve seen a steady growth for a while now, resulting in a healthy pipeline of work lined up for the foreseeable, which means the platform needs to be improved.

One of the challenges they’re facing, like any business who sees results and growth, is integrating their products with their customers systems. So, they’re looking for somebody who can bring a strong understanding of APIs (both REST and SOAP) to the table, to help them tackle the issues head on.

This is a back-end focused role, so you’ll be able to demonstrate a good understanding of ASP.NET MVC, C# and SQL Server – whilst also knowing your way around JavaScript and some of its frameworks (ideally AngularJS). Some parts of the platform are written in .NET Core, so any experience using it would be an advantage.

I can see them paying £45,000-£55,000 DOE.

They’re still transiting back into the office, so interviews are being done remotely, but this is a hybrid/remote role, which will see you head into the office a couple of times a week.
