Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core, Azure) - Fully Remote
Fully Remote / Remote / £50,000-£60,000
It’s a Monday afternoon, you’ve had an awful day, so you start window shopping on various job boards, before stumbling upon the perfect role, which if anything, looks too good to be true.
You then spend the weekend updating your CV so you can apply.
You get a call the next day from the Recruiter, great, they’re calling already, but they seem to be more interested in the other companies you’re interviewing for, instead of telling you about the perfect role you saw – and guess what, you never hear from them again.
Sound familiar? Unfortunately, it happens too often.
If this role looks of interest, drop me a message on LinkedIn and tell you all about them.
You’d be joining a smaller sub-team, focusing on streamlining and modernising their core platform, as they expand their offering to the US market – this will include building out their Azure infrastructure and implement CI/CD pipelines, so they can automate various processes.
Tech wise, you’d be working with .NET 5, C# 9, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, SQL, Microservices, Terraform, NServiceBus and Azure – you’d need to be able to show a good depth of understanding with most of these (it is a proper Full-Stack role, so you’ll need to be able to turn your hand to both sides of the coin).
For now, I see the roles paying up to £60,000 DOE, plus package, which includes BUPA, flexible working hours and a whole range of added perks.
You’d be given a healthy training budget, Pluralsight subscriptions, a brand-new laptop/desktop and any other tools needed to be successful. Plus, you’d be invited to monthly innovation and hackathon days, so you can get to know the team a little better.
