Senior .NET Developer (.NET6, Azure) - 95% Remote
Fully Remote / Onsite / £60,000-£70,000
If your experiences of moving house are anything like mine, then you’ll feel my frustration when it comes to having to chase people up. Having multiple parties working together, with little/no communication between them, was always going to be a recipe for disaster.
This is where you come in. You’d be building an online platform, which effectively acts as a centralised tool, bringing everybody in the process together in the same place, making it easier to track where everybody’s up to, speeding up communication and taking away the headaches.
They’re regularly looking at ways to stay ahead of the technical curve, so you won’t find yourself maintaining legacy systems. Their tech stack at the moment looks like: C#, .NET 6, Entity Framework, OpenAPI, Kubernetes, Docker, Bicep, MassTransit, and Mediatr.
They’ve recently migrated to Azure, so you’ll be helping them move from IaaS to PaaS and ensuring they’re making the most out of the platform. This includes building pipelines in Azure DevOps and automating the creation of an Azure infrastructure.
For now, I can see them paying £60,000-£70,000 DOE, plus a great package: 27 days holiday (plus BH), private medical insurance, flexible hours to fit in with your work/life balance, volunteering days to spend with a charity/cause you’re passionate about, share incentive schemes and plenty of other perks/discounts.
You’ll be able to work remotely for the vast majority. In an ideal world, you’d be able to show your face in Oxford once a month, but if you could only commit to once every couple of months or so, then I can’t see it being an issue.
You’d be able to spend 10% of your week focusing on your own personal development (they’re looking at increasing this to 20%). So, you could sharpen your skills with various tech, learn something new or spend time preparing for external exams etc. 3 of the Dev team have picked up MS Certifications in the last 12 months.
You’ll probably be the kind of Developer who passionate about writing clean code, who’s regularly refactoring to keep the code base healthy. You’ve probably got in an interest in DevOps too, well, at least you’ll appreciate the benefit of automating various processes.
The interview process would be really straight forward too, all done via Teams, so you wouldn’t need to take any time off work.

Don’t worry if you haven’t got an updated CV, that’s a bridge we can cross later.
